help with IE and google

Help !
When using google to search for web sites I get no response, it just seems
to hang there until I close the window down then I get the usual " do you
want to send a error report " from XP
I am using Internet Explorer 6 and XP Pro.When I search for images using
google it works fine . Help anyone ?

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
