Hi there.

Just recently downloaded quite a few anti-spyware, ad-ware, malware removers and anti-virus programs to clean out a malware called WindUpdates browser plug-in and WindUpdates MediaAccess.

Found okay malware program that did it:

http://malwareremover.com/malware_scanner_products.html

along with the following adware prog:

http://www.noadware.net/

Unfortunatelly I did have to pay for them. Anyone have any thoughts on these two programs?

And to my main question, I have the following programs on my pc and want to know which to keep and which to uninstall as some may be conflicting with each other:

1. Norton System Works
2. Ad-ware SE Personal Edition
3. MS Anti-Spyware
4. Spybot S&D
5. NoAdware
6. Ewido Security Suit
7. CCleaner
8. XCleaner
9. Malware Scanner
10. CWShredder
11. mwavscan

Many thanks and regards

I find the best three are 1 Spybot= 2 CCleaner = 3Zone Alarm are FREE no problems for two years.
You should not want the others.

2 antivirus programs usually cause conflicts and use up a lot of system resources. Though if you have expereinced no error, don't worry about it. You can have as many spyware/addware/malware programs you heart desires, just don't rn more than one at a time, and make sure you don't have more than one running in the background at a time. I know the MS one tries to stay active all the time with the little bullseye in the system tray. Make sure only one icon of that sort(aint-whatever) is there at a time.
