help with dun file and dsl service

HI,
I need help. I am installing verizon dsl service and an
the error comes up saying "dun file not present or not
properly installed". I called verizon and they say it is
a problem with the windows xp pro and told me to contact
microsoft. Does anyone have had this problem? Thanks
for any help.

PS: I have just upgraded from xp home to pro.
