help with Canon Pixma MP780 please?

Can anybody help me. I have just been given a Canon Pixma 780 to use at
home. no software came with it unfortunately. I have placed the ink
cartidges in correctly but only black and yellow seem to print. How do
i get the other colours to print as well? Your advice is appreciated.

make sure you have the proper oem cart in the right slot. download all
needed software from the canon site.
