Recently I had to change my resolution to get my dvd
player to play a dvd. well that worked but i had to change
the settings back so the colors would be normal again.
Well the other night I closed my laptop and it sent it
into sleep mode i guess. Well the battery went out and so
the next day when I tried to restart my computer, windows
never fully started correctly. Now it goes through the
phase(over and over again) where its a black screen white
letters that says:
"We apologise for the inconvenience but Windows did not
start successfully. A recent hardware or software change
might have caused this. If your computer stopped
resonding, restarted unexpectedly or was automatically
shut down to protect your files and folders choose Last
Known Good Configuration to revert to the most recent
settings that worked.
If a previous startup attempt was interupted due to a
power failure orbecause the reset button was pressed or if
you arent sure what caused the problem choose Start
Windows Normally" Then it goes to list:
Safe Mode
Safe mode w/ Network
Safe Mode w/ Command Prompt
Last Known Good Configuration
Start Windows Normally

Well guys Ive tried all the choices they gave me and all
it does it go the the Windows XP start up page then the
inspiron page and then it goes back to the first black and
white screen. Ive tried turning it on/off taking out the
battery and putting it back in. Nothing works!! Please if
anyone knows how to fix this let me know. Thank you!!
