Help! Windows Update/Microsoft Update will not display!

Hi there,

I have a serious problem with WinXP. The Windows Update/Microsoft Update
pages have ceased to display on my browser. Instead of, well, anything, I
get simply a blank white page. I think that I've done everything short of
reloading my operating system, and I'd really rather avoid that kind of
drastic measure if at all possible.

Also, if someone could explain to me why it's doing this, that would at
least be nice to have.

When you visit other web site do you have the same problem?
I'm assuming your using Internet Explorer.

No, I only have this problem with the Update sites. And yes, I'm using IE.
