HELP: Windows Installer Problem

Hi all

When I try and install any program that uses the Windows Installer program I
get the same error:

Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.This can occur if you are
running windows in safe mode, or if the windows installer is not correctly
installed.Contact your support personnel for assistance.

I have scanned the net for answers, tried them but still no joy.

Has anyone got any advice for me please?

I have the same problem AND the same results. Nothing has worked so far,
including the two responses to you. Were you able to solve the problem? If

Try using Microsoft update for a hotfix on this....
I'm sure there is one I've got one on my computer system
