Help!! System not able to access Net now.

After installing the AntiSpyware, I was encouraged to disable the NetBIOS.
Well, I thought I had SP2 installed, but not yet.....the NetBIOS was disabled
and now the only programs that can access the net are ping functions and
AIM...nothing else. No firewall is running, PC connects wirelessly. How do
I re enable the NetBIOS? I can't seem to find anything ANYWHERE to fix this.

Hi Jim

Goto 'Start Menu' then 'Run' and type

services.msc

Press OK

When the services window opens find 'Messenger' under the Name section and
double click it to open the properties window.

On the StartUp Type area change it from 'Disabled' to 'Automatic'

Press 'Apply' then on the Service Status area press 'Start'
