HELP !!!! stop c000021a

Lod Kiu

I have got a problem and nothing on the net seem to find out the
solution.
The problem seems to be solved on the MS web site, but is not true.
I have got a problem:
STOP: c000021a [irreversible Error of system]
Process of system Windows Logon Process finished in attended way in
with state of 0xc0000135 (0x00000000 0x00000000) The system has been
closed

Looking around the solutions anything seems to be good to sole the
problem and right now did I had to format my hd because anybody from
microsoft have solve this problem???
In one thread I have seen that:
1)http://www.google.com/url?sa=D&q=http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid...
2)http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330303/it
3)http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315341/it method #2

Well, in the first link 1) is written how to recovery a damage
registry, but they don't specify how is possible to recovery the
regsitry if anyone as not the possibility to access to windows...and
moreover, my Xp is updated and my version is Xp Sp2, therefore I don't
need to download again the service pack----> WICH OTHER SOLUTIONS?

In the second link 2) is talking about the error I get, but under W2K
and not in Windows Xp. But also they suggest to get the new service
pack...again as in the first link????

In the third link 3) method #2 Method 2: Reinstall Windows XP by
starting your computer from the Windows XP CD I have observed it is
impossible. In step 5 is written : Make sure that your current
installation of Windows XP is selected in the box, and then press R to
repair Windows XP.
BUT I DON'T HAVE THIS...THER IS NOT ANY "R" ON MY CD....
In the MS web site: http://tinyurl.com/h226 is explained how to solve
the problem, but the article talking about dipendeces. Another one is
that: http://tinyurl.com/wtqpg that talk about how to find out the
solution (?).
But
So, what other solution???? Also in the
http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm they advise to format the HD, because
MS HAS NOT find out how to solve this problem.!!!!!!!
So, money spent, time spent, my physical energy spent without a
solution...very good indeed!!!

Hi Lod Kiu,

If you have a retail install CD as opposed to one supplied by the computer
manufacturer (though the fact that you don't have the "R" option on the CD
when trying to reinstall Windows makes me think that you have a
recover/restore CD provided by the computer manufacturer), and XP did not
come preinstalled on your computer, you could give this a try:

How to recover from a corrupted registry that prevents Windows XP from
starting

Thank for your answer, but I did it as explained in the link as
above-written, but it didn't work. Everytime the same error.
I don't understand why I can't to find out the solution and the
puchline is that I didn't find anything good on the net, also on the MS
web site.
Is it possible that Microsoft has not found a solution for that problem
that seem to be an epidemic disease for that OS. I can't belive that
Microsoft suggest to format the partition to solve the problem, but
they do !!!!
Infact in the http://tinyurl.com/efq5f they talk about anything good,
because anything of those suggestions are correct.
