Help RRas service not starting

hiya
I hope a guru can give me a heads up on what to do here.
So right to it here is the issue.

I have a win2kAS running RRas for NAT. 1 static ip to the
public and multiple private computers connected to the
server 2 NIC's. Currently the RRas service wont start. When
I try to start it I get the "Service specific error 234".
Which according to the KB article 317158 means that
something in the registry regarding RRAS is messed up. And
here is where i get stumped.
When I try to follow the directions in the KB article
and disable RRas from within the RRas interface it makes
like its disableing but it doesn't really disable. So when
I right-click on the server I supposedly just disabled the
menu item to configure and enable is still greyed out and
disable is still available.
But wait there's more.
After I go through the process of disableing RRas on the
server and have the above problem, I still have the Action
menu option to "start". When I click that option I am told
that RRas is disabled and do I want to enable it? I click
yes and then I get the same error's returned as when I
started this whole process.

Has anyone had this problem? If so please let me know here
how it was resolved. If not can anyone tell me how to
"re-install" RRas without rebuilding the entire server? I
haven't found any pointers anywhere to how to do this.

Thanks to any and all in advance

Try to disable Routing and Remote Access Service and then enable it and
reconfigure it.

Also you might want to check if the following services are running
Remote Connection Manager Service
Remote Registry Service
Remote Procedure Call

Thanks Sharoon. I brought up the Remote registry service
and the remote connection manager service , remote proc was
already started, and I got my console back.

Now I have to re-figure out how to get NAT working. I did
the disable / re-enable thing and now the server isn't
resolving any DNS calls, even though the DNS server is up
and running and say's its responding to the test.

Any more hints?

Thanks again for your help.
