HELP QUICK!!

I have an 8gb hard drive (2nd computer) and i installed
xp.. after the install it said i had 600mb free and 7gb
used??? But all the files in the hd only add up to
600mb's? Ive installed nothing else

If you cleanly installed XP, there is no way to actually get JUST XP to 7GB
in size.

Re-install - booting from CD and creating the partitions using Windows XP
install process (DELETE everything and create new partitions..)
