Help: programmename.exe error message

Hi guys,

Every time I close a window I get the message "programmename.exe has
generated an error and will be closed..." Does anyone know what is
causing the problem and how to solve it? Thanks!

Is "programmename.exe" the actual name, or can it assume a number
of values?

For starters I recommend that you scan your PC with an external virus
scanner, e.g. on www.antivirus.com ("free online scan").

your programme.exe.(i.e. yahoo messenger and some programs.) may b
currupted or to be reinstalled. then you can be solve this problem.
