HELP NEEDED - ERROR MESSAGE

I AM GETTING THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE:
WinMgmt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will
need to restart the program. An error log is being created.

PLEASE HELP!!! I SHUT THE COMPUTER DOWN AND RESTART IT BUT IT DOES NOT HELP.
THIS MESSAGE POPS UP EVERY TWO MINUTES!!!! THANK YOU.

There are three possibilities I can think of:

1) You're suffering a malware infection (spyware, virus, trojan, etc.)
Try doing a complete scan at someplace like pandasoftware.com and try to
do your absolute best first to make sure your system is totally clean. (And
even if that doesn't solve it, you may be surprised what a deep scan
turns up.)

2) OK. That wasn't it? Try clearing the "WMI configuration" files. To do this,
first stop the "Windows Management Instrumentation" service in Computer
Management. Keep that open a moment, open Windows explorer and browse to
the folder: Winnt\System32\Wbem\Repository. Backup and then delete
ALL the files in that folder. Now restart the service. WMI will use the recorded
configuration to re-create those files - hopefully this time correctly. If this does
it, you should no longer see the message.

3) Oh well. My last shot. Put in your Windows CD and do an upgrade
'install', which will repair Windows and recreate missing registry keys
that might be responsible for the problem.
