HELP!! Printing preferences are NOT being pushed to the client!!!

Although the printing preferences are reflected in the
server when I make the changes... the customer connects to
the print queue and any change made after I have created
the queue are NOT being pushed to the customers computer.

Windows 2k Advanced Server, no special port monitors or
anything is in use. I have HP TCP/IP port monitor on the
system, but it is not in use...
