I recently upgraded from Win98SE to XP. I'm now getting
this message every time I launch XP, but I don't know what
it means or how to fix it. Can anyone help?

CRTCClient msmsgs - Entry Point Not Found

Thanks in advance

Hi Steve,

Either reinstall messenger, or disable it from loading. To reinstall,
right-click the msmsgs.inf file under C:\Windows\Inf and choose install. To
disable, start/run msconfig, go to the startup tab and uncheck the line that
loads it. Be aware that if other programs, like Outlook Express, are set to
load messenger, that you will need to disable it within their settings as
well.
