Error Message

Everytime I try to load a game from my CD-ROM, I get this
Error Message:


The Procedure entry point widmchar ToMultiByte could not
be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

Could sombody please tell me what this means and how I
can fix it. Thanks
