I posted this here before but there's no answer yet, so I think I'll post it
again, wondering if anyone could help me?

Recently I always get error message everyday when entering windows (sometimes
the computer restarts automatically too, making it worse). This is the error
message:

Computer restarted after an unexpected shutdown.
Microsoft Windows detected a possible device failure.

The driver for the display device was unable to complete a drawing operation.
Please check with the device manufacturer for a driver update.

Please tell Microsoft about this problem.
The display driver for NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 seems to be responsible for
the system instability.

The following files will be included in this error report:
C:\WINDOWS\LogFiles\Watchdog\050921_0858-01.wdl

then another Microsoft error message popped up saying ...

The system has recovered from a serious error.

A log of this error has been created.

C:\\Windows\Minidump\Mini092105-01.dmp

I tried downloading the latest driver as suggested (by following the link
provided after sending the error report), but it didn't work. I still get
error message everyday.

Is that software or hardware problem? I have no idea what's happening,
perhaps it's my video card or something else?
Please help me, what should I do to fix this problem, thank you in advance!

If this is a recent problem you could try a system restore or getting a
driver update driver direct from the maker of your video card.

When you say you"followed the link" after the error report do you mean
you got an updated driver from Microsoft? Big mistake you should
always get drivers from the manufactorers website in this case Nvidia

http://www.nvidia.com/page/home

Your problem looks very much like a driver issue I doubt its the card
itself. Try the nvidia site support.
