help please!!!!!

can someone help me

whenever i download a program and try to install it i get an error saying
that "There is no disk in the drive. please insert disk"

it gives me the option to try again continue or cancel

no matter which one i try it comes back and locks up my computer for a long
time

i hope somebody can shed some light on this for me

In which application, Glen. If for Internet Explorer, have you tried
changing the "Download directory" value in the registry?
