I am trying to make a presentation on Tuesday using Windows Movie Maker. It
stops responding and needs to shut down after just a couple minutes. What's
going on? Does anyone know?

Any help would be great

Using video and pictures takes a tremedous amount of RAM (memory) and
processing. Unless your have at least 512mb of RAM, a P-4 processor and a
decent video card with 128mb of memory built in (shared memory with video on
the motherboard is garbage!), you will probably never be able to create
MovieMaker, Presentations, PowerPoint, etc. type files. If your machine is up
to speed, you have problems in your system settings, or a known conflict with
some hardware or software in your system. Read the help forums to see if
others have the same setup and problem as you. Good luck.

ummm, I have a P3 processor with 32MB video card and 512MB RAM (My
daughter's PC) and I have used it quite a few times to make videos in WMM.
The lower your resources the longer it will take to render a project but low
resources shouldn't make WMM crash.
The problem could be a lot of different things. Check Papajohn's website
www.papajohn.org "Crashes and Hangs" section for some solutions to try
first.
