Help please - how to print a .prn file

Instead of directly printing a .doc file,
I had to save the print file in .prn form.
How do I print this file now? I tried to
drag it to the printer, but it does not
accept it. Is there any easy way to
print this .prn file? Any help will be
highly appreciated.

Thanks for the info. I have tried it. Instead of
printing one page, it did junk print and messed
up the printer. I had to re-boot both the PC
and the printer. Apparently, this process is
for old DOS, but the problem is, Win XP files
do not behave properly in DOS mode.
I guess I have to give up printing on PRN files.

Anyhow, thank you so much.

I couldn't understand that why you are converting a .DOC file to .PRN format.
Anyhow, here are 2 ways to print that file, which may be helpful for you.

1. Open/Edit the file in Notepad and here give the Print command. You do not
have to worry how your document looks like in Notepad as it will be printed
in the same format as it was being designed.

2. Second one is old Dos style. Goto Command Prompt by typing CMD in Run
command of Windows XP. Here Open/Edit the file using the Edit command. From
the File Menu use Print command.

If this doesn't solve the problem then try Printinga document of another
format. If the same problem occurs to that document also then your printer
drivers are might corrupt. Try re-installing your printer drivers.

If other documents are being printed in good format then there good be a
problem in your conversion. Maybe, you are not converting a DOC file to PRN
format in a good method.

Last one is, you do not have to convert a DOC file to PRN before printing as
I do not matter that what printer you are using. If you are unable to print a
DOC file then you must check Printer Drivers and try re-installing Office as
well.

Bye!

Hope! This will solve the problem.
