help: P2 hangs up desktop icons

Any help?: After installing SP2, once I click open and close a desktop
folder, I can't open any more. I get the error and the Send Report
thing. I followed directions and used SpyBot, CWShredder and
HiJack-This to clean out spyware, before I downloaded and installed
SP2. I run Norton anti-virus and immediately enabled the firewall. I
have P4 @ 3.0 Ghz, HyperThreading enabled, dual memory banks, 512G in
each, Intel D865PERL mobo, ATI Video card, DirectX 9, Win XP SP1
My real problem I was hoping SP2 would fix is my new WinTV card video
freezes any a while ~ 1 minute. I saw on MS site SP2 fixes "TV Card
Video Freezes".

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
