HELP! OUTLOOK RULES WIZARD ERROR

When I use rules, emails are duplicated. 1 goes tot he folder specified, the
other stays in the main inbox. How can I stop this?

I use Outlook 2000 XP

can you give an example of one of the rules where this is happening? state
all the steps in the rule here.
