HELP ~~ Not receiving meeting requests from some (but not all) use

What could be causing this: when certain people send me Outlook meeting
invites, I don't get them-- the invites just never arrive.This has happened
with at least 2 people, from 2 different companies, who sent me invites. Yet
I receive meeting invites all the time from other people. Any suggestions????
In one case, I had the person add me to his Outlook contacts and then send
the invite, and that worked. But it didn't work for another person. Thanks.

What type of mail server? Are these users sending to you over the Internet
or internally on a mail server?

If it's over the Internet, do you see the email if you connect to your web
based mail reader?
If it's internal, have you asked your IT department about the problem?

My mail server is pop3.
One of the people was sending to me internally on a mail server - and when
he added me to his Outlook Contacts, I was able to receive the invites. The
other person is sending via Internet; I do not see the invite when I connect
to my web based mail reader, nor when I connect to Outlook on my laptop.

Well, if you don't see the message in your web mail, then it isn't an
Outlook issue. Outlook only downloads what is on your server, which is the
same stuff your web based reader sees.
Do you see the other invites in your web based mail reader?

Normally, I see all invites iand emails n my web based reader and in my local
Outlook. This is a new problem with invites-- only in the last 3 weeks.

Note that this is happening only with invites from certain people, not all
-- and for invites ONLY --- emails from the same person are arriving fine:
I'm receiving his emails, but am notreceiving his invites, but am receiving
invites from other people just fine. Very odd that I get his emails with no
problem, but not his invites.

Mystery solved..... the invites were getting quarantined by my mail
server........ so I got them all released. It was odd cuz only the meeting
invites were getting quarantined; emails from the same sender/domain were not
getting quarantined.
