Hi,

I have another CD/DVD drive listed in "My Computer" that doesn't exist. I
deleted it out of System Device manager but it keeps appearing when I
re-boot. I have also tried a system restore but still it appears.

Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Its not a Virtual drive from Nero is it?

Hi

Have you tried removing the drive via Device Manager in Safe Mode?

Open Device Manager, Click View, tic "Show Hidden Devices".
Expand the DVD/CD Rom category. Examine the listings, if any
devices are shown grayed out (lighter shade), they are called
Phantoms. Right click any Phantoms and choose Uninstall. Then
reboot. Normally, CD-ROM devices only get re-enumerated
after a firmware update which causes Windows to re-detect them.
