HELP-->No longer able to open .txt file attachments in Outlook 200

I am no longer able to open notepad .txt file attachments in Outlook 2003.
Was working...but not any more.

If I just save the file to my disk, I can open it fine. The error message I
get when trying to open an attached .txt file is..."The system cannot find
the file specified."

Can anyone help me with this? Thanks...-janet
