Help - new Bug that relocates a/c details

in your outlook express...

why recently does 'localhost' appear in the POP3 box under the a/c propteries tab, with the details that WERE there, being now appended after the account name, eg- taboo.x/pop3.eidosnet.co.uk ,
as this causes no mailboxes to be accessed until edit things back to how they were.

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Outlook, rather than Outlook Express.
But I'll take a WAG. Have you installed an AV product which is
supposed to scan your e-mail?
