Outgoing e-mail

I use Windows XP Home. It came with Outlook Express. However, I use
Incredimail, which is my default. I recently uninstalled and re-installed
Windows XP as I was advised to do by Microsoft because of a different
problem. Since then I have not been able to use Outlook Express for any
e-mail. When I attempted to send an e-mail using Outlook Express the
following message poped up: "The host POP3 could not be found. Please
verify that you have entered the server name correctly: Account: POP3, server
POP3," which I verified.

It still didn't work.

I was sending and receiving e-mails using Incredimail. Everything was fine
-- until today. Now, using Incredimail I can receive e-mails but I can't
send. The following message pops up: "Outgoing server POP3 cannot be found.
Please verify you are connected to the Internet and that the server address
is correct, and try again. Err details: 530 authentication needed."

I verified. It is correct. I tried Outlook Express again and the
Incredimail window appeared. Can anybody let me know wha's going on with my
outgoind e-mails? Thanks.

1) Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup like
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general . This
grou is for Office Outlook.
2) Perform the authentication stated in the error message. Look on the
Outgoing Server tab of your account properties pages.
