Help my hard disk please!

Hi, there,

I have two 30G HDDs and a 320G HDD , and two of them have xp
installed. Yesterday, I started my computer with my 320G HDD and one
30G
HDD first, that was ok. But after I replaced 320G HDD with my another
30G HDD, I got a problem. One of two disk partition got larger
capacity from about 10G to 100G, and all folders and files in that
partition are named very abnormally.

Please help me to restore that HDD.

THX!

The information that you provided as I read it does Not Make Sense.
If you replaced the 320G drive with a 30G drive then that would total
a capacity of about 60G. So, a partition cannot cause itself to get
larger and especially larger than the capacity of the drive itself.
Try to be more clear in your presentation of the information. Then we
may be able to help you.

No but errors in the partition table can cause it to report as being larger
than the space available. I assume that this is what has happened to the
OP.

You already have posted this yesterday and you have gotten some answers. What I am saying is that you should keep to your original thread that you have started so new posters can read all that was recommended to you. This way you are just getting answers that were already posted to you already..
