HELP:My Compuer icon disappeared

When I boot up my PC this morning, I found that the My Compuer icon, normaly
at the top left hand corner of my screen has disappeared. How do I
re-install it. Many thks and Happy Christmas.

This might work ...

Right click on vacant area of desktop and select "Properties"

Click the "Desktop" tab and at bottom left click "Customise Desktop"

At top under "Desktop Icons" if there is no tick next to "My Computer"
then click it to put the tick there.

Click "OK" then "OK"
