HELP moving to DVD

I have recorded a 3.7 GB file in movie maker and need to move to DVD...have
tried several programs, but no luck...running XP Pro...any help would be
great,thanks

What programmes have you tried?
What file type did you save the 3.7gb file as?

movie maker and a few free downloads...i saved them as windows media/audio
video files...when i try to use the other programs, it just takes
forever..a.fter several hours of 'encoding' it is only like 10% complete.. I
am running a 3ghz machine with 1gb of ram

movie maker in xp pro doesn't make dvds, so that will be why that doesn't
work.

And "a few free downloads".... well not knowing what they are I can't
posssibly say why they haven't worked.
