(yes batteries are fine) Stopped working. So I pulled
about 10 of my old mouses out, and none work. Not even
USB? I uninstalled logitech drivers, no help? Oh Lord

Ok!
1. PANIC!! Do not touch anything until finished PANICKING!
2. Disconnect ALL Mice.
3. Locate the Windows 'Start key' on your keyboard (Usually Lower
Left between CTRL and ALT)
4. 'Start'>'Up Arrow' to 'Control Panel' <Enter>
5. 'Arrow Keys' to 'System' <Enter>
6. 'Right Arrow' to 'Hardware', then ALT+D
7. <Tab>, then 'Down Arrow' to 'Mice and ...'
8. 'Right Arrow' once, then 'Down Arrow' to select your Mouse.
9. Locate and Press the Windows 'Menu' Key (Usually Lower
Right between CTRL and ALT)
10. 'Down Arrow' to 'Uninstall' <Enter>, <Enter>
11. ALT+F, then X, then ESC.
12. Plug in your USB Mouse.
13. Insert Driver Disks if requested
14. Have a small Dry Ginger well diluted with Scotch - So will I!!
Post Back if this does not work (Have the Scotch anyway)!

Also, make sure that you have a pointer in Mouse Properties.
Start
Control Panel
Mouse
Pointers tab
Scheme drop-down menu
The first option is "none."
Do not choose this option.

you have 10 "mouses"? wow...all same brand? might check
with some of the "mouses" websites for updated drivers.
winXP plug/play is good but it might not be that good.

i have keyboard from my win98 and it worked with winXP
for about 2 months and needed new driver from vendor. no
problems since.

if these "mouses" are from same vendor i want to buy
stock shares from that company.
===thank you john ritter we will enjoy your life on film==
