Help me with this Java issue ! :-(

Hi,

I have win Xp pro (SP1) and installed Java 2 Runtime1.4.2_05. The problem
is:
I must access a governamental site that needs MS Java 3802 . When I try to
access
that site with Java2 it says that "This kind of cache client is not
supported for browsers activated
by Java2..." . Well, I've downloaded the MS Java 3802 but as you can imagine
I can't install it
under XP SP1. If I uncheck the Internet Explorer in the Java Console browser
tab and try to access site
again it tells me that I must have IE5 at least...:/


Any help please ?

To verify your version, go to Start/Run and type in: wjview

MS JVM Version 3809

Once 3809 is installed you can get the Update 3810 - 816093 or use the link
above: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=816093

If this is not the issue:
Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 msjava.dll
