So assuming you cleaned all and all well and dusted, try to run this command
from the run command by typing:
sfc /scannow click [OK] and wait for it to finish you may be asked to
insert the XP CD (which I can't see happen in safe mode).
It will be handy if you include the complete error message instead of hiding
or given us a portion of it!.
You can try chkdsk.
HTH.

You need to look in the Event Viewer for other Error messages (X) as this
can indicate a hardware and software corruption after the infection by the
virus.
Did you scan for malwares also as Viruses, try to download this tool:
http://www.safer-networking.org for Spybot S&D

Then in the Normal Mode try to Open the command Run by doing this:
Click Start >> Run and type in: sfc /scannow then click [OK] or Hit
Enter on your keyboard.
Read these links here:
A "STOP: 0x0000008E" error message occurs when you change the hardware
acceleration setting

The HaxDoor virus may cause a "STOP 0x00000050" or "STOP 0x0000008e" error

Keep it simple we are not in the army here LOL, just nass with a small (n)
fine for me, we a group/community.
Do this:
Click Start >> the click on Run and type in the box : sfc /scannow then
click OK.
You can copy and paste the command or the line to your run command prompt,
you will need your XP CD to insert it in if it prompted you to do so.

Reboot/Restart your machine and see if that helped.
If not then do this step:
Click Start >> Click On Run then type in: eventvwr and click [OK]
On the Event Viewer double click on any Error message (X) to get more
information about the cause of it and you can copy and paste in your next

Ok Browser,
Well I want you to tell me what Hardware installed on your machine or any
Hardware installed and Also what Anti-Virus you have and how many?.
If you have a printer try to uninstall it, since you can start Okay in Safe
Mode then it is likely a Hardware issue, so look in the Device manager to see
which Device is failing.
To access the Device Manager do this:
Right click My Computer and select Properties, then click Hardware Tab, then
click the Device Manager Button and Expand all the Pluses there and see if
any Red (X) or Yellow Exclamation (!)mark on any device there and Right click
and get more Info about it and post them here in your next post.

Ok Browser,
Well I want you to tell me what Hardware installed on your machine or any
Hardware installed and Also what Anti-Virus you have and how many?.
If you have a printer try to uninstall it, since you can start Okay in Safe
Mode then it is likely a Hardware issue, so look in the Device manager to see
which Device is failing.
To access the Device Manager do this:
Right click My Computer and select Properties, then click Hardware Tab, then
click the Device Manager Button and Expand all the Pluses there and see if
any Red (X) or Yellow Exclamation (!)mark on any device there and Right click
and get more Info about it and post them here in your next post.

fine for me, we a group/community.

On the Event Viewer double click on any Error message (X) to get more
information about the cause of it and you can copy and paste in your next

to answer your first questions sir i did the first with a representant from
MS-Benelux on the phone. did the whole spybot in safemode twice the first
time with Lan connection the second with out result idem dito 0 found. And
now i will do nr 3 as u advice me to do.
Thank u again for the help sir, its greatly appreciated

You need to look in the Event Viewer for other Error messages (X) as this
can indicate a hardware and software corruption after the infection by the
virus.
Did you scan for malwares also as Viruses, try to download this tool:
http://www.safer-networking.org for Spybot S&D

Then in the Normal Mode try to Open the command Run by doing this:
Click Start >> Run and type in: sfc /scannow then click [OK] or Hit
Enter on your keyboard.

The sfsynco2.sys is for a File protection software called StarForce
Protection Synchronization Driver, do you have this installed?.
If yes then uninstall it and delete all traces for it from here:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\sfsync02.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\sfhIpo2.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\sfhIp01.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\sfdrvo1.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\prodrvo6.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\prohIp02.sys
Then Right click on your My Computer and select properties then click on
Hardware Tab then on Device Manager there under Unplug and Play expand it and
if the StarForce there Remove it.

I Need you to look in these Keys:
By opening a run command and type in :
regedit.exe click [OK]
On the Registry Editor locate this Keys:
[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run = Look
in the Right Pane/Window for the Running Processes write them down and post
them in your next post.
[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices
= look for them and write them down and post them in your next post.
After uninstall the StarForce Reboot and do a scan for malwares and Viruses
again please.

Hi Georges,
All looks okay but I have preservation about :
Logitech Hardware Abstraction Layer :
This for your mouse to configure

NvCplDaemon ;
This for your Display Card by nVidia

Try to uninstall the Windows Defender and Download the new release from the
below link:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...E7-DA2B-4A6A-AFA4-F7F14E605A0D&displaylang=en

And also Run this Tool to see which Program is taking the CPU usage and
lagging your System:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...b570-42470e2f3582&displaylang=en&Hash=SY534SC

Remove the entries for the StarForce Driver:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\sfsync02.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\sfhIpo2.sys
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\sfdrvo1.sys

Reboot your computer and see if you will get an Error or you will get to
shape.
If no joy then Uncheck the Daemon tool, the Bluetooth and the Nero from
start up by starting clean Boot.
To do that Open a run command and type in:
msconfig click [OK] and on the system Configuration window click StartUp
Tab and uncheck the Check box/Line for them and Reboot your machine.
If the Error gone then try to check back the Boxes one-by-one and see which
program will cause the Error to come back.
HTH.
Let us know.

nass
