Help Me - How to start in safe mode - Lost Admin. Login password

To anyone who can help!!! Operating system Win XP 200
I have used F8 to go in safe mode but it goes into an option saying " Select First Boot device ", Floppy, Idle, and CDRom etc. et
I have lost my Administrator’s password on my home pc and logged on as a guest user with no rights or access to my files and written documents
Please advice me, my email address is (e-mail address removed)

Select the HD option, then press F8 again.

Using the System Configuration Utility. If you can start the computer normally
into Windows, then this is the easiest way to restart the computer in Safe mode.
To configure the System Configuration Utility to start the computer in Safe
mode:
1. Close all open programs.
2. Click Start, and then click Run. The Run dialog box appears.
3. Type msconfig and then click OK.
4. The System Configuration Utility appears. Check the "/SAFEBOOT" option, and
then click OK.
5. You then see the prompt to restart the computer. Click Restart.
The computer restarts in Safe mode. (This can take several minutes.)
When you finish troubleshooting (in Safe mode) repeat these steps, but in step
4, uncheck "/SAFEBOOT," and then close all programs and restart the computer as
you normally would.
