Do you still have your original .jpg files? If not...
I guess this would be a good case for why backups
are so important.

HighMAT technology has been discontinued by
Microsoft so there is not much info available on
how to convert the files. At least I have not been
able to find any info on converting.

Some info:

(831240) Update for HighMAT Support in
the Windows XP CD Writing Wizard
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=831240

There is a free viewer you can download from the
following site that should allow you to view the files
but I don't think it will convert them back to .jpg.

HighMAT PC Viewer
http://download.chip.eu/en/HighMAT-PC-Viewer_105434.html

The following software says it will allow the creation
of a HighMAT CD...I do not know if it will allow
previously created HighMAT files to be converted
to .jpg but it may be worth a try...there is a 14 day
trial period.

InterVideo MediaOne Gallery Platinum
http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/us/en/Product/1180016457953

Also the trial version of ACDSee can create a
HighMAT CD so possibly it can reopen the CD
and allow the files to be converted back to the
original format.

How do I create a CD or DVD in ACDSee?
http://www.acdsee.com/support/knowledgebase/article?id=2232

Good luck.

Just burn another CD and this time do not select the HMT format option.
