Help, I'm stuck!!

I was backing up a copy to a CD on the D drive from my
accounting software. The CD wizard asked me from what
program I wanted to get the info from. I didn't know
which one I should choose so I chose WORD as one. I now
cannot open my files in WORD. When I open from the icon,
I get a blank screen that takes up about 3/4 of my
monitor screen and it reads, "document 2 or 3 or 4 or 5",
when I try to close it, it states that the program is not
responding and to return to Windows or end program, I
pick end program, then I get "nonresponsive program for
Microsoft for Windows and to tell microsoft about it,
then an error report is created and I have sent it to
Microsoft and the window closes. Then next time I open
WORD, I get 'DOCUMENT 6" and go thru the same thing again.

Your e-mail does not make a lot of sense. You said that you were backing up
a copy of your accounting software, so why would you say that the program
was Word. Also when you are clicking what icons do you get a blank screen?
Are you trying to click on the accounting data icons? If so, Word will not
know how to open these files.
