Help!! Im locked out!!

Okay... I forgot the password to my computer. I dont know how, but i just
CANNOT seem to remember it. I've been trying to get in for at least three
days, but nothing helps. Any suggestions?? What am I to do??

To reset the "pc password",simply unplug pc,remove battery for 5 minutes or
so,replace battery,restart pc.You'll need to reset basic BIOS settings before
you can run the pc.

More nonsense from Andrew E., our resident troll here. Mannyfreshest *might*
mean the password to get into the BIOS, but it's far more likely that he
means the password for his user account.

Here's a utility here to reset it.

This may have repercussions. You are modifying a crucial Windows file from
outside of Windows. I recommend you backup the system first. You can use a
disk imaging program that boots from a CD. You will also lose any files that
you have encrypted with efs by changing the password outside of Windows. If
you have used efs then you'll have to find a different solution.
