Using Frontpage 2003 for simple website for my volunteer fire company.

I had a major screw up this morning. I was updating my index page, then I
deleted a page from inside Frontpage that I no longer need, somewhere along
the prompts I said yes to delete, evidentally it also asked if I wanted to
delete the index page.

I have no index.html or index folder on my hard drive.

Is there a way to copy down what I need from my ftp server where I publish
it??

I just did try copying down my index.html from ftp site, but now when I open
it none of my photogalleries show up just say
[photogallery/photo12869/real_p.htm]

Geez, I don't wanna have to start from scratch. Can anyone help me out.

Thanks in advance, Chad. www.bart51.com

Backup your existing site on your computer just to be safe.

Using Frontpage, open the remote site.

Then publish it to your hard drive.

Hi Chad,

Is the remote site hosted on a server with FP Server Extensions? If so, use FP to open the remote site and publish back to your hard
drive.

Both CHAD and MD are correct. Its not enough to downloaded your index.htm
file from your remote site to your local site. You just downloaded a
structure HTML file. You forgot to download also your photogallery folder and
images (or image folder) from your remote site to your local site.
