My daughter downloaded a trojan or maladware with a game.
We cleaned it up with symantec, mcafee, tucows etc. I
turned the computer off, and when windows started, the
administrator log on popped up asking for a password on my
windows 2000 for networks. I never set up a password or
any passwords on the computer as several people use who
are forgetful. help what can i do?
I need my computer for school, have little money but can
follow directions. computer was a used one bought from an
outlet that resells computors, and they have no clue on
how to fix the problem except to tell me to use restore
disk, which is not working as I can't boot the computor
with it.
Please help and thanks in advance. Please respond on board
or to email at yahoo.
