HELP: hmm.. probs

My friend got Chinese version of Windows (yes 99.99% of every text upon load
up is in chinese).

What am wondering is whether the English version of Service Pack 2
(WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe) will work under chinese version of Windows..
or will that cause some problems?

Currently am downloading the 250MB WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-CHS.exe chinese
version of Service Pack 2 (simplified chinese). I hope that works..

AFAIK SP2 is language dependent, so the english version won't work on
the chinese installation.

Chinese OS requires the Chinese SP2, English OS requires the English
version. You can not mix languages and service packs. They must be
the same.

Hi,

He/She needs the chinese SP to go with the Chinese system, the English
version won't work.
