help here please, i need to have my pc running well, because is pretty old and low in features....

i need to know how to get rid of every not needed file aol software 9.0 installs or promts to...i mean i only need the aol nothing more no media no nothing just aol to sign me up on the web.

is there any method to use aol without its software i mean like a normal setup connections(xp-like connect to and it just asks for user pass and done it signs up).

a manually setup to connect my self into the web using or not using my aol account....THANK YOU SO MUCH

one thing about aol is that spywares and stuff will happen
to your system by just loading the program.no isp should be
able to tweak your system by just signing on to the server.
try another isp,please.
if you do use aol then run a program called spybot at
safer-networking.org and update it first and scan on easy
and see what aol installs on your system in spywares. and
if aol fails to work then use the backup files in spybot to
restore functions of programs.

AOL is evil. There are much better,cheaper,simpler providers out there. Go to majorgeeks.com, an excellent and friendly,FREE,help site. You can download clean,highly regarded,free software - specifically SpyBot and Adaware. Do it pronto. and make sure you have all your updates from microsoft too.
