Help!!help!!

Since last week, everytime I start my computer(WinXP
Home); my windows shuts down by itself 30~40 minutes
later... I dont know why..it really bothers me. Please
help me~~~

That happened to a neighbor of mine a couple of weeks ago. I found that her
virus protection was out of date and that she had a virus causing the
problem. Could that be a possibility for you?

Also, what kind of shutdown are you experiencing? Black screen, Blue Screen
of Death, any messages, however brief and unreadable?

This happened to a neighbor of mine a couple of weeks ago. Turned out she
hadn't kept her virus definitions up to date, and she had a nasty virus.
Once we identified that and cleaned the virus and got her on live updates
for her Norton virus prtotection she's been ok ever since. Could it be the
same problem with you?
