HELP.. Having trouble saving gif and jpg files!

I am having a problem saving gif and/or jpg files to my cp.. When i right
click on an item it will only give me the option to save as a bitmap file.. I
had this problem several months back and someone told me how to adjust some
things that cleared up the problem.. I can't remember exactly what that was
but I would appreciate any help. BTW, From what I understand this is a fairly
common problem in Windows XP

I have been up all night so im a bit loopy and didn't think of that.. but I

This problem occurs if the Temporary Internet Files are full. Clearing the TIF helps in most cases.

1. Start Internet Explorer
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. Click the General tab.
4. Under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files.
5. When you are prompted to delete all temporary Internet files, click OK.
