Help gamepad wont work with XP

I bought a game pad for my daughter to use and it didnt come with a
driver or instructions. Ive also had my Windows XP Pro CD stolen. It
keeps telling me to insert the XP CD is there any way around that? Any
help would be greatfully accepted.

Not really. You need the XP CD. Call tech support and ask about a
replacement CD. If nothing else they do need to know there is a problem with
PC using that CD to register and activate. They might also be able to tell
you if that "evil villain" has used it to register/activate.
