There's nothing there. Nothing on the page works.
I read and tried going to windows\inf\pchealth and right clicking, running
the install. That is supposed to fix it. It didn't.
I would just reload the xp pro but if I do, will that reload help? Will it
change any programs ie: screw anything up? I bought and paid for this cd.
Do I have to go through all that bull of getting permission from ms to use
my own property? If I have to get the s-number, I'll have to practically
dis-assemble the set-up to get to the sticker on the back of the case
somewhere with the number. Damn M$. How do I get the number to call them?
In another question, I have a real dozy on a ghost icon that I can't get rid
of on the desktop. I dumped Norton after they went nuts and this icon was
left after they were dumped. It was previously their Norton protected
something or other. It has no properties. right clicking it gives no option
to delete it. I can r-click it though and open it as a recycle bin. Double
clicking it does nothing. It says there is no association assigned to it
but if you can't bring it up anywhere, it makes it kinda hard to assign
anything. Related to this, my recycle icon at the bottom of ms explorer now
has lost it's name and there is no way to access IT either. It also refuses
to drag onto the desktop.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
