HELP-DVD PLAY & DECODE

I was forced to erase everything on my computer, and was
walked through the reinstallation process with Dell. I
have XP-home. Before all of this, I could watch videos on
InterActual. Now I get a message about needing a decoder.
Would anyone care to "take control" of my computer, and
help me get this problem straightened out? I'm so
uneducated on this stuff that I don't know how to get back
here, or if you can email me at (e-mail address removed).
Please help an old guy who needs a young person to help.

You'll have to reinstall the DVD decoding software which came with your PC,
probably WinDVD or PowerDVD. If you cannot find the CD and Dell won't help,
you can purchase just the DVD decoder for about $14.85 from
www.intervideo.com
