Because, I don't have time tto upgrade. it would take 4ever. The DVD
reader didn't come with anything, and the computer didn't have a DVD player
when I bought it. Now it doesn't really matter because I can watch them on
my Mac, but what i was asking is there a website could download it from.

Why still SP2?

Anyway - should have gotten some software with your DVD
drive/computer if it came with the DVD player. (WinDVD, PowerDVD,
etc.)

RE: Windows XP SP3 -- So far - I haven't had any machine that took longer
than an hour - including preparation and cleanup (assuming you already have
backups, of course.)

Instead of going into lots of work dealing
with Codecs...try the free VLC Media Player.
