HELP!!! DVD Burning

Reading these posts here, I have decided to go for Nero Ultra 6.6, Is that
all needed to Authour/Convert/Burn DVD from DV-AVI to MPEG-2?
May be my understanding about Nero is not correct but I think it is just DVD
authoring, burning software. Can it also convert DV-AVI into mpeg2 (DVD)
format?

Nero 6 Ultra includes an MPEG-2 encoder. So you can just
import DV-AVI video and burn it to a DVD in one step.
