I have windows xp professional, had to reload it when I did my drivers were
not saved. Now I dont have drivers for the following: Ethernet Controller,
Multimedia Audio controller, SM Bus Controller, Video Controller (VGA Comp).
How do I fix this? Is there somewhere online I can go to to just download
these things? Need help fast.

If the devices are all on-board the motherboard, use the CD that came with
it.
If its a Dell/HP/IBM prebuilt system you would have been provided with a CD
of utilities and drivers, typically
If you have neither, then you will have to find out the model of the
motherboard, goto the manufacturers website and download the drivers, I'm
assuming you still have internet access so that shouldn't be a problem

If they're not on-board the MB then (occassionally) after installing XP SP2
and rescanning the system devices they may become recognised and install
that way.

Not ideal but that's all that comes to mind so far

Did you try the Control Panel->Add Hardware to see if it can be added that
way?

If not go to the vendors of the hardware and see if they have drivers on
their website. Did you get any driver disks or CDs with the hardware?

Usually a CD with all the drivers on it comes with the computer. If that's
not the case, find out what Motherboard your
computer is using. To do this you can get a free utility like Aida32
System Info. You can download it here
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download181.html

If most of those controllers are integrated on the Motherboard it
should be a fairly simple process to get the necessary
drivers. Post back here if you need further assistance once you get
the required information.
