Help!
I was cutting and pasting picture files and i must've cut one and then
another before pasting the first one and now it is lost/gone.
Is there anyway i can get it back/find it?
Is there some type of clip-board where i could retrieve it, as i didn't
actually delete it, or does it automatically delete??

I don't know what to do. Can someone help me?

When you copy an item to Clipboard, that item is placed into temporary space
in system memory and is retained there until that space is flushed in one of
two manners:
1. the computer is rebooted, the computer is turned off, or the
computer experiences a large power sag.
2. a new item is placed in that temporary space.

In both instances, the previous Clipboard contents are sent to The Great
Septic Tank In The Ether-World. No one can help you recover the previous
contents of the Clipboard.
If you do this work often, and you absolutely _must_ use 'Cut' rather than
'Copy', then you should avail yourself of one of the many free or Share-ware
replacements for Windows Clipboard.

Download and run Restoration or another Undelete program. The more you
use the hd with the deleted files, the more data you overwrite, so you
should download the program to a flash drive, or floppy.

A couple of ways to move many files:

1. Click the first in a long list, press Shift key as you click the last
in the list. (Or just press Ctrl/A to select all.) If you'd like to
deselect some in the highlighted list, press the Ctrl key as you click
them, to deselect. Ctrl/Click is a toggle and will alternate between
selected and deselected. Once they're all selected, right-click one,
click Copy (or cut), go to the new location, and paste.

2. Copy them to the new location, then go back and delete them from the
original location. This is much safer with a large quantity of files.
